📖 How to Play

Objective: Defeat all 5 bosses by generating enough Aether Power before your turns run out.

Card Types:
🔥 Fire — generates Aether Power equal to its value (Slots 1–3)
💧 Water — doubles an adjacent Fire card's value (Slots 1–3)
🌿 Earth — carries its value to the next turn if you don't win (Slots 1–3)
⚡ Volt — multiplies total power of all 3 Core slots (Slot 4 only)
🌀 Void — inverts values: cards score (10 − value) × 10 (Slot 4 only)

Scoring Formula:
1. Water doubles adjacent Fire.
2. Sum all 3 Core slots (including Earth carry).
3. Apply Catalyst: Volt multiplies the sum, Void inverts.
4. If total ≥ Boss Defense → Victory!

How to Play — Game Rules

Card Types

🔥 Fire (Core, Slots 1–3) — generates Aether Power equal to its face value.
💧 Water (Core, Slots 1–3) — doubles the Aether Power of an adjacent Fire card.
🌿 Earth (Core, Slots 1–3) — carries its value forward as a bonus on your next turn if you don't win this turn.
⚡ Volt (Catalyst, Slot 4 only) — multiplies the total power of all three Core slots.
🌀 Void (Catalyst, Slot 4 only) — inverts scoring: low-value cards generate high power.

Turn Loop

Each boss shows a Defense Score and a Turn Limit.
Draw 5 cards from your deck.
Place up to 3 Core cards in Slots 1–3 and an optional Catalyst in Slot 4.
Hit Forge — if your Aether Power meets or beats the Defense Score, the boss falls.
Choose a reward card to grow your deck, then face the next boss.
Run out of turns on any boss and the run ends.

How the Daily Seed Works

AetherForge uses a deterministic pseudo-random number generator (PRNG) seeded by today's UTC date. Because the generation is purely mathematical and runs in your browser, a player in London and a player in Tokyo face identical boss sequences and card drop options on the same calendar day — with no server, no database, and no account required.

Add ?customSeed=12345 to the URL to practice on a specific seed, or share your victory URL (generated on win) so friends can verify your score is legitimate.
